December!

Hello Everyone!

The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different...

TESTIMONY

Layers and layers of faux fur matched perfectly with the gloves
and still the cool breeze seemed to float through and into my skin.
Flashes of maroon and blue whizzed past me. Handfuls of snow were zooming across the air.
A group little girls wearing knitted scarves were enthusiastically making a snowman.
The blanket of white snow spread across as far my eyes could see.
It looked so beautiful as I looked up at the evergreen trees draped in white.
Small cottages that lined along the street were too, covered in the layers of white with frosty window as some of the little ones pressed their noses to the window to look out.
It was the first time I had ever experienced snowing. It was my first snow. The warmth of hot chocolate made its way from the kitchen to my nose and I could almost taste it. I eagerly waited to finish my hot chocolate and go outside to join my sister who was beginning to start a snowman but was hilariously struggling. As I soon as I had gulped down my hot chocolate I ran out into the snowy field in the hotel of Edinburgh where I was spending my winter break.
As I stood by my sister I picked a handful of snow and looked at it with amusement and thought this is what snow feels like. I turned to my sister only to witness her bursting into heaps of laughter because the amused expression that had settled on my face.
After a brief photoshoot our snowman was abandoned half way through because we were too busy flinging snowballs at one other for we had joined in the snow fight!
Coming back to the cottage after hours but what only seemed like minutes I was sure that I couldn’t get enough of the snow!
It was a white magic indeed!
