With a twinkle in its big wide eyes,
looking up at me longingly, I thought to myself that a more precious gift
to find would have been impossible.
Cuddled in its basket, ears pricked and every moment making her head turn
I looked at her sitting innocently looking around her new home.
As soon as I laid eyes on the pink bow of the gift basket
and held her in my arms I knew,
what they said about kitties was wrong
for this one seemed full of warmth and longing for love.
All I can say really is warm kitty, soft kitty, my little kitty.
Gifts are special…
Cakes are yummy.
Every birthday, every celebration ends with memories,
